Sleep in Aotearoa 2015
New Zealand Sleep Meeting of the Australasian Sleep Association and Australasian Sleep Technologists Association
4-5 May 2015, Chirstchurch
Nurses in Sleep: The role of the Sleep Nurse has been evolving over the last 10-15 years in New Zealand. The multidisciplinary focus of sleep medicine requires a high degree of interaction between the scientific and clinical team members, however the actual role of the nurse is poorly defined. The aim of the morning session is to help demystify the role that nurses play in the MDT environment and to celebrate the integral role that nurses play in the Sleep Medicine field, within a variety of settings.
