As part of an exciting new partnership with the Sleep Research Society (SRS), all ASA members now have free online access to the journals SLEEP and Sleep Advances on our website.

“It couldn’t be simpler to take advantage of this significant new member benefit,” said ASA President, Alan Young.

“Simply log into the ASA website with your member details, visit the Journals page, and click through to your preferred journal.”

One of the major international journals in sleep and circadian science, SLEEP is the official journal of the Sleep Research Society. It is peer-reviewed and published monthly, with a current impact factor of 4.8 and a five-year impact factor of 5.8.

Sleep Advances is the peer-reviewed, fully open-access online journal published by the SRS. It publishes high-quality and replicable basic, translational, and clinical research in sleep and circadian science.

“Access to these journals is a free benefit for all ASA members. It’s an exciting step forward for the association, and I’d like to thank Professor Peter Eastwood, the previous ASA President, for all his hard work in making this partnership a reality,” Alan Young said.

As part of this arrangement, ASA members are also entitled to discounts on open access publication fees. In order to access this benefit, each member needs to have agreed for their contact details to be shared with international service providers in accordance with the ASA’s new privacy policy.
