MBS Changes

The Government announced changes to the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) items for thoracic medicine (respiratory testing, sleep studies and vigilance testing) in the 2018-19 Budget. These changes were implemented on 1 November 2018.

Department of Health Educational Forum on changes to MBS Item Numbers

On 29 November 2018, the Department of Health (DoH) hosted a webinar to update clinicians, providers and industry on the changes to the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) items for thoracic medicine (respiratory and sleep studies). A recording of this webinar can now be viewed here
