MBS Changes

The Government announced changes to the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) items for thoracic medicine (respiratory testing, sleep studies and vigilance testing) in the 2018-19 Budget. These changes were implemented  on 1 November 2018.

Department of Health Educational Forum on changes to MBS Item Numbers

On 29 November 2018, the Department of Health (DoH) hosted a webinar to update clinicians, providers and industry on the changes to the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) items for thoracic medicine (respiratory and sleep studies)A recording of this webinar can now be viewed here
