The course will look at the ins and outs of the methodology and devices on offer, compare and evaluate approaches to analysis and have a hands on approach to data interpretation including tips and tricks for accurate and considered interpretation beyond automated scoring. The intention is to upskill clinicians and researchers to aid engagement in high quality sleep data collection. Participants will leave well equipped to measure, interpret and report actigraphy outcomes. Presenters will be from a range of clinical and scientific backgrounds including a neuroscientist, psychologist, sleep technologist and exercise physiologist. The program emphasises a hands-on approach and all participants will have the opportunity to analyse and discuss various clinical data sets.
