Student Travel Award to Sleep DownUnder

Student travel grants are intended to support costs associated with travel and accommodation for students whose abstract has been accepted for presentation at Sleep DownUnder and who do not reside in the host city. Students residing in the host city are not eligible for a travel grant.

Applications for the student travel grant will be assessed by the ASA conference committee and will be based on scientific merit.

Eligibility criteria:

• Applicants must be a current Honours, PhD student or Advanced Trainee. The confirmation of student status form must accompany the application.
• Applicants must be student members of ASA or ASTA. Memberships must be current at the time of application.
• Applicants must be the first author of the submitted abstract and must agree to present their work in either oral or poster discussion format.

Recipients of student travel grants will be acknowledged at Sleep DownUnder and on the ASA website.
