Adolescent sleep: the good, the bad and the ugly
2018

Presenter: Prof Sarah Blunden

About the Webinar: Why is understanding adolescent sleep so important? Because, when considering developmental change, adolescence is second only to early childhood with significant changes in physical, psychological and psychosocial domains. Underlying all these domains is sleep. Sleep is the foundation of all health as without good sleep all other health issues can be negatively impacted. So when sleep changes during adolescence, everything can change. Furthermore, when sleep improves negative health outcomes can be reversed. So understanding adolescent sleep is a recipe for understanding how we can maximise good health and wellbeing for our young people. This webinar was presented in partnership with RACP.
